Coral Springs Youth
Soccer truly appreciates the volunteer hours put in by our
500+ coaches each year. Without your dedication
we could not have such a successful program. Each
year we are in need of many new coaches, in addition to the returning
'regulars'. Its not hard - we provide free training courses. Just keep

All Coaches
-Again This
Year
Due to requirements of our background check
procedure, ALL coaches, new and returning, must
provide photo ID when filling out the application and must sign the
application in person. It is not possible to have a
friend sign you up, or fax in the coaching application. All adult
volunteers, including Board Members, Coaches and Referees are also required to sign a consent form, authorizing CSYS to perform the background
check. We are doing
this for the security of our players - we trust you will understand and
cooperate.
Returning Coaches

You should sign-up in
person at our August 28 or September 11 registrations. Photo identification is required.

Coaches beginning their third season will be asked to
take a second level of training course, applicable to the age-group they are
coaching. See below.
|

|
We would like all
returning coaches to consider becoming a CSYS referee this season.
We can work around your coaching schedule as needed. As you know,
we truly need more qualified adults on our games.

New Coaches

Coaches who are new to
Coral Springs Youth Soccer must take an appropriate
coaching course. This course provides some club philosophy
along with tips on organizing practices, drills, rules of the game,
etc. Please sign up for a specific date and time
below or when you fill out
the coaching forms at Soccer Registration.

Training Classes
|
|
All coaches are required
to attend a CSYS training class appropriate to the age-group being
coached. If you attended the class for that age-group within the
last two years, you do not need to re-attend. All classes are held
at the Veterans/Soccer Bldg at Mullins Park. This is immediately
east of the Gymnasium, and adjacent to Mullins Field M7 and M5.
